Surrounded by her family, Anna Luderman passed away peacefully at the age of 101 years old.
She was born August 19, 1917 to Joseph Diebert and Magdaline Keller in Balfour, ND. Ann had ten siblings. From 1924 to 1937 Ann and her family lived in Aberdeen, Athol, and Glad Valley South Dakota.
She quit school in the 8th grade to work on the farm, milking cows and working in the fields. She moved with the family in 1937 to Billings Montana where she graduated from Anderson Beauty School in 1940. On October 5, 1940 she and the love of her life, Glen Luderman, were married. They raised three children, Jerry, Vernon and Beverly.
Ann worked at Eastern Montana College for the Handicapped Center for 17 years.
Ann and Glen loved to go camping, play cards, dance and were rock hounds. They were charter members of Holy Rosary Parish where Ann was very active in Circle and Catholic Daughters. She was one of the top sellers of the COW PLOP fund raiser, along with many donated apple pies and dill pickles for the fall bazaars.
Ann loved her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was full of life and enjoyed all the many fun activities we shared as a family.
She spent the last 6 years of her life at St. John's. She brightened the lives of all the staff and residents with her sparkling personality.
She is survived by her children and their families, son Jerry (Betty) Luderman, granddaughter Shanaley (Bruce) Galts great grandchildren, Brian and Nathan, and granddaughter Gina (Roger) Schiff and greatgrandchildren Tyler, Larissa and Kyra; son Vernon (Edna) great granddaughter Kayla and great great grandson Kaden Avens, grandson Kent Avens and great grandchildren McKensie and Matthew Avens, grandson Kelly and great grandchildren Brandon, Baiden and Seth, and Granddaughter Kari (Dion) Nebel, great granddaughter Brooke (Brandon) Bohrer and great grandson Chad; and daughter Bev (Charlie) Allison, granddaughter Amy (Ron) Yates and great granddaughter Ava. Also surviving are sisters Maggie Jacobs and Carol Cooney and sister-in-law Dorothy Busch.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Glen, grandson Kevin Avens, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be 1-5pm Wednesday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday at St. Pius X church with Rite of Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.
