LuAnn Keen, 71 of Billings, passed away on November 24, 2012, at the Horizon Hospice Home in Billings, following a 20 year battle with poor health. LuAnn was born on April 25, 1941, in Lovell, Wyo., the daughter of Jewel “Vern” and Maude (Markley) Scheuerman. Vern was a pharmacist, and the family moved several times in LuAnn’s younger years. She attended high school and graduated from Sheridan, Wyo.
On August 9, 1968, LuAnn was married to Larry Keen, in Casper, Wyo. Larry welcomed her children Jeff and Tracie into his life. Larry’s job took the family around the state of Wyoming, including Torrington, Jeffrey City, and Gillette. In 2006, LuAnn and Larry moved to Billings, MT to be closer to medical facilities and family.
LuAnn enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the most caring, loving person to her husband, children, and grandchildren.
LuAnn is survived by her husband Larry of Billings; brothers Allan (Nancy) Scheuerman of Glenrock, Wyo., and Gene(Jane) Scheuerman of Sheridan, Wyo.; children Steven Keen of Billings, Tracie (Vic) Christensen of Bullhead City, AZ; Jeff (Maggie) Spencer of San Antonio, TX; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place, and burial of cremated remains was held at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park in Billings. Per LuAnn’s wishes, no services were held.
