Louis Schieno, 73, of Billings, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2013 after many years of battling illness.
Louie was born November 17, 1939, in Billings, to Nazzario and Maria Schieno. He was raised and educated in Billings. He enlisted in the Marine Corps November 23, 1956 and completed a tour in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged November 22, 1958. Louie returned to Billings where he worked as a professional, commercial and residential painter. He married Geraldine and became the proud father of two sons, Cameron and Kelly. Years later, Louie met Marcia and they married September 21, 1990. He finished his working career in 1998, retiring from Deaconess Medical Center.
Louie loved his entire family. He took particular pleasure in his grand-babies, always playing with and teasing them. They were all smiles in his presence. Arm tickles and toy car back rubs were his specialty. His stories will always be a favorite of theirs. Many of his days after retirement were spent taking care of and attending to his babies. Farewell Papa Louie, please continue to watch over and guide us from above.
Survivors include his wife, Marcy; sons, Cameron and Kelly; stepchildren, Shane, Wade, Melanie, and Marnie; grandchildren, Dillon, Logan, David, Anthony, Joseph, Jillian, Natalie, April, Kalvin, Blake, and Morgan; great-grandchildren, Kenneth, Simone, Alan, Anna, James, and Benton; sister, Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Louie was preceded in death by; his mother and father; brothers, Joseph, Angelo, John, Matthew, Anthony, Michael, Paul, and Samuel; and sisters, Fia, Rosie, and Lena.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 21, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at Michelotti Sawyers at 1001 Alderson Avenue. Inurnment with military rites will be held at a later date.
