Leroy “Roy” George Bagley, 79, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on March 24, 2015, of natural causes.
Roy was born on Dec. 14, 1935, in Mott, N.D., to Walter and Doris Bagley. He was educated in Wisconsin. Roy married Anne Nordquist of Hayward, Wis., on Aug. 22, 1959.
Roy and Anne lived in Great Falls for 33 years, where Roy worked for Northwest Airlines, and the two raised their family. Roy and Anne loved to travel, so, after Roy’s retirement in 1993, the two headed south in their RV. They lived in Bullhead City, Ariz., for the next 20 years, where Roy loved to swim and golf. The couple traveled around the country, as well as many foreign countries, during the spring and summer months. They saw the many great sites, and visited with family and friends. In 2013, the couple relocated to Billings. Roy was kind, devoted to his wife and family, and had a wonderful sense of humor that he maintained even in his final days.
Roy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anne; sons Don (Betty) of Billings, Brian (Denise) of Craig, Colo., Mark (Jeri) of Salem, Ore.; grandchildren Kristin (Jake) Rozier, Jefferson, Lorelei, Dylan, Caitlin, Jason, Dalton, Faith (Louis) Calderon; great-grandchildren Gabriel Rozier and Grayson Calderon; sister Bonnie Cormican of Albuquerque, N.M.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy’s parents, Walter and Doris, and sister Yvonne Seelig preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Ocee Johnson Chapel at Chapel Court on the Saint John’s campus in Billings.
