Remembrances
To Rays Family: I am so sorry to hear of Ray passing away. I had the pleasure of working with Ray for the past four years and had got to know him very well in that time. Ray did an amazing job working with the kids at YBGR, always so patient and understanding. He made a point to get to know everyone in the building, whether or not they had clients in common. Ray was always appreciative of things others did for him and was the first to say, "Thank you." I repeatedly told him while he was out sick that he was missed around the building by all, and he will continue to be. He was a great and kind gentleman and he will be missed by many. Lynnette Muri
Dear Ken and Brenda: I just wanted to let you know that your brother was a wonderful man, and he will be greatly missed. I considered him to be a very good friend, and he was always someone that I could be myself around. He was never judgmental or critical. He was a good friend to my kids - - he took my son out to dinner and played pool with him, and he helped my daughter with her homework. He was there for me after my dad committed suicide, and he was someone to talk to if I had a problem. He also had a great sense of humor, and we spent lots of time just laughing. I think I have grown closer to him over these last few months that he has been sick. I have spent a lot of time with him at home, in the hospitals, and in the nursing home, just listening and talking to him. I saw during this time what a great inner strength and faith he had. He will be missed. Linda Cantwell
I met Ray 30 years ago through my husband, Dave Hackmann, who graduated from Flaxville High School. Ray was a one of a kind person. A good friend, a good listener, in general a very good person. I will miss our phone calls and laughter. No matter what, Ray found humor. He truly love the kids he worked with. I will miss him so much. Sharon and Dave Hackmann, Deer Lodge,MT
To the family of Ray Oltman, Ray was a wonderful man who spent time assisting special needs children. Ray spent quite a bit of time with my nephew - David. David, as well as the rest of our family, thought very highly of Ray. He was a nice and caring man and made the world a better place for many people. With God's Love, John Teeling, Billings, MT.
