Fay B. Kraft, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Saint Vincent Healthcare in the loving arms of her family after a long illness. She was born on July 15, 1941 in Billings, Montana to John and Gaynelle (Gainan) Kary.

Fay attended high school in Shepherd MT. She went on to achieve both her Bachelor's Degree and Masters Degree from MSUB. Fay lived in Billings and touched the lives of many in her profession. 

Fay married Edward J.Kraft in Billings, MT on January 18, 1958. Fay and Eddy built a life together in Billings MT and raised four children for 28 years until they divorced in 1986. Fay worked for over 20 years at Billings Heights IGA until finishing school in 1994 and then she began a new career as a counselor for children and teens.

Fay's greatest joy in life was her family, her children, grandchildren and most recently great grandchildren. Fay was outgoing, friendly and was the happiest when she was sitting around chatting, Fay touched everyone she met with a happiness, joy, and friendship - she truly was a was a friend to everyone.  


She is survived by our father Edward J. Kraft, children; Rickey Kraft, Teri (Mike) Waleri, Randey (Robert) Arnold-Kraft, and Rodney Kraft. Grandchildren; Amanda, Rickey, Mikey, Tricia, Jessi, Roddy, Nicole, Jeffery, Annette, Danny, Michael; five great grandchildren, and 2 special angels, Lori and Pam. Fay is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters; James (Judy) Kary of Powell, Bernie Norton of Billings, Debbie Gallahan of Deerlodge, MT, and Ted Kary of Huntley, MT.

Fay is preceded in death by her infant son, her parents, her brother Douglas G. Kary, and a special Brother-in-law William Gallahan.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Saint Patrick's Co-Cathedral in Billings with a potluck reception immediately following at the home of her Daughter and Son-in-law. There will be a Vigil held on Tuesday evening at 7 PM at Michelotti-Sawyers located at 10th and Alderson. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Rocky Mountain Hospice, 2110 Overland Avenue, Suite 111, Billings, MT, 59102 or Dialysis Clinic, Inc., 2411 Village Lane, Billings, MT 59102.

 

In honor of Fay's fondest memories of Hawaii, we encourage Hawaiian themed clothing - Mom, we will miss you always, your heart will keep us strong and ready for everything - We hope you dance - After awhile crocodile! We love your guts!!!
