Wes you will be missed greatly. Our thoughts and prayers will be with your family and love ones. Mike Sims
Dear Butch and Judy, My heart aches for you. I know the pain of losing loved ones and I know that no words ease your sorrow. Please know that we love you and are praying for you. Take comfort in the knowledge that Wes and Jeannie are reunited. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. With Love, Brenda Daellenbach (daughter of Will and Birdie Blatter Daellenbach)
I am very sorry for your loss. It was always great to run into Wes in Billings. He was such a nice person and he always had a big smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Nicole Anderson
I have never seen Wes so proud as when he was sharing Maddi's success in her "British" soccer camp or the fun he had taking Brock to the Lil Bobcat Football camp in July of this year. Maddi and Brock - may you always know how much he loves you. Your family remains in our prayers.

On August 3,2008, we lost a loving, soldier in the battle of life. Weston Blatter, Wes as he was known, was born, October 2, 1976. Wes spent much of his life embracing his love for the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or boating on the lake with his family, he loved to be with all of God's creation. Wes always had a positive attitude, whatever the circumstance, and persevered through the many trials of life. Wes's perseverance carried over to all areas and he excelled at many things. He had an amazing gift of the use of his hands and could fix anything, that needed repair. Wes would not accept that he could not fix it. He had high expectations for himself and this allowed him to be very, successful in his career and you could count on Wes to get it done. His hard working, attitude was one in which is a rarity in today's business world. Wes cared deeply for his family and friends. You could always count on Wes to be there for you if you needed him. He cared more about the welfare of others than his own self. Wes was a devoted father and took time no matter how limited he was to express his love to his wife and, their two, young, children. Wes loved hanging out with his brothers, Corey and Jeff, and called his mom and dad daily just to tell them he loved them. Wes was a man who will be missed by many. He leaves behind emptiness in our lives that only he could fulfill. Wes is preceded in death by his sister Jeannie, in whom he loved and missed terribly. But now, Wes joins Jeannie, and they are together, free from the pain of life's many heartaches. Wes is survived by his father and mother, Harley "Butch" and Judy Blatter, wife, Shanlee Hocevar Blatter, daughter, Madison "Maddi" Blatter, son, Brock Blatter, brothers, Corey Johnson (wife, Ashley, children Avery, Lily, Brooke), Jeff Johnson, (his children, Olivia and Reese), and Jeannie's daughter Tiffany. Wes is also survived by many other loving family members, as well as numerous dear friends. A memorial fund has been established for Wes's young children at US Bank, 1645 Grand Ave. Donations can be made in memory of Wes in lieu of flowers. Please join us for a celebration of Wes's life on Friday, August 8, 2008, 1:00pm, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 328 S. Shiloh Road. Additional services will be held 1:00pm Saturday, August 9th at Bell Mortuary, Glasgow with interment in Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-8pm Thursday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. The casket will be closed at church. |

Butch, Judy, Shanlee, Jeff, Corey, & Family I am so sorry for your loss. I
have some wonderful memories of Wes from high school and the times I would
get to see him in Billings. He always had such great energy, and had such an
infectious laugh and smile. Shanlee, I am so happy you and Wes met and have
a daughter and son together to carry on Wes' legacy. I didn't get to know
Wes as a father, but from the relationship he had with Tiff, I know he must
have been such a wonderful father. Wes and Jeannie were so close, and now
they are together. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers. With Love, Callie (Barstad)
