Kathryn A. Swain, 87 of Billings, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Valley Health Care Center.

Kathryn was born in Roundup, MT on March 14, 1919 to Theresa and Nick Schmauch. She graduated from Klein High School in 1936. She also graduated from the Billings Business College.

She worked for Pierce Packing, Billings Livestock and for Pierce Poultry. When her husband Harry E. Swain and Vaughn Morris started Swain & Morris Line Construction Company, she was the office manager until retirement.

Kathryn enjoyed bowling and fishing.

She is survived by her husband Harry E. Swain, a brother-in-law James R. Swain, sisters-in-law Jean E. Grimm, and Ruth Schmauch, several nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be 10am Tuesday, February 27th at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
