| Remembrances |
Ryan Michael Rexford, 39 of Billings passed over to the Lord, early Saturday morning, February 3, 2007. Ryan was born in Billings, MT on February 11, 1967. He attended elementary school in Hysham, MT and graduated from Hysham High School. He was a recognized athlete, and received many medals and awards for his excellence, particularly in Track and Field. Ryan moved to Billings in 1985. He enrolled in, and graduated from the St. Vincent School of Radiology. He worked in this field for several years, and became the lead radiology technician for Deaconess Billings Clinic. He was loved and respected by his co-workers and the patients. He resigned his position to work with his parents in their business. In 1991, Ryan married Stacy Havck Deitz, and in 1992, they became the proud parents of twin daughters, Amelia Shay and Shelby Layne. Ryan devoted his life to his daughters. He guided, counseled, entertained, and supported them in all their activities. Mr. Rexford was a lover of antiques, and had a natural gift of woodworking and home design. He had the uncanny ability to take an old and discarded item and turn it into a delightful treasure. He was a witty and soft spoken man who always had kind words to say about others, and had a natural and sincere way of complementing those around him. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Amelia Shay and Shelby Layne Rexford of Billings; his parents, Willis and Sharon Rexford of 2004 Hewitt Drive in Billings; his sister, Shari (Del) Warren of Hysham, brother Tracy (Barb) Rexford, and sisters Reagan (Dan) Litzsinger and Shannon (Jim) Green, all of Billings. Also feeling the loss are numerous nephews, nieces, uncles and aunts. Ryan had a special camaraderie with two of his aunts, Marilyn Manning of Hysham and Kaye Suhr of Billings.
To Everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven... A time to weep, and a time to laugh, A time to mourn, and a time to dance. You will be forever in our hearts, Ryan. Love, Your Family. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, February 8, at St. Pius X Church, 18th St. West and Broadwater.
