Avis N. Frey
Remembrances

Avis N. Frey, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 17, 2007. She was loved by family and friends throughout her life.

She was born March 9, 1914, in Grand Island, Nebraska. The daughter of Henry and Edna Bremers. After her education in Grand Island, she moved to Denver to go to business college.

Avis married John Frey on March 13, 1941 in Brighton, Colorado. They moved to Powell in 1955 where John and Avis bought the Mobil Bulk Distributorship. They had one daughter Mary Ann.

After Johns death in 1974, Avis spent many volunteer hours working with the historical society and on the Wyoming Centennial. She spent a lot of time traveling the world with friends. In the 1990's she moved to Billings, MT to be close to family.

Survivors include: Sister Bethyl Johnson, Grand children Kurt Weber, Becky Spadt, Joyce Weber, and Mark Weber. She had 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10am Thursday at West Side Baptist Church, 323 South 32nd St. West Billings, Montana with Pastor E. Lynn Howe officiating. Burial will be in Powell, Wyoming.
