June Virginia Ferris

June Virginia Ferris, our beloved mother, sister and unbelievable friend, left this world to join her Lord and Savior after a long tough battle with cancer and lung disease. She died at peace in her home surrounded by all her family.

Mom was a wonder, always the one to take care of everyone and everything. She was our rock and she never crumbled. Her faith was an amazing thing to behold; she lived to serve the lord. No matter how sick she was or how hard it was to breathe, you would find her in church, working on an activity or taking someone somewhere. She was very active in the church, holding positions in the Mary & Martha Society, LWML, Evangelism and the Choir. She loved to sing her praises to the Lord. Bass was her specialty and she sang until she had no breath left.

She is preceded in death by her husband John and her brother Howard. She is survived by her children Rose, Sharon, Cyndi, Susan and Steven. By her grandchildren: Jamie, Nikki, Jenn, Michael, Lydia, Elease, Mitchel, Wade, Katie and John. Also by her siblings: Marie, Edith and Fred. Let us not forget her family of brothers and sisters at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church of 36 years. She was an exceptional special woman and will be truly missed.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 9:00 A.M. Saturday at Mount Olive Lutheran Church.

June's courageous battle has been an inspiration to all who have had the opportunity to meet her. Although she's been my cousin all my life we never really met until 1 year ago. Praise God for that wonderful time and meeting you all as well. May God's love surround you and may He always be near when you need Him most. Love you all, Judy Elliott, Clarkston, Washington.

Dear Family, I am your cousin, daughter of Harriet Carol Parsons Boldenow. Because of circumstances in our families, we did not become acquainted with June and sisters until the three of them came to Minnesota. I remember how pretty they were and so very polite. I am sorry not to have met Howard, and Fred. I sent pictures from Grandma Parsons album to share with you all. I hope the wonderful life and memories of your mother and grandmother will be with you always. I know how proud Aunt Inez is of you all. Her voice full of joy when she would relate what you were doing. May God bless you with all you need at this time. Your cousin, Barbara Louise Boldenow White
