William "Bill" Joseph Hays, born July 16, 1941,
passed away in his home on Sept.10, 2007, as a result of
complications from emphysema. A Montana resident since his birth,
Bill spent the last 33 years in Billings after serving for 8 years
in the U.S. Navy.
An avid outdoorsman, Bill especially loved camping
and fishing with his friends and family. In later years, he enjoyed
reading, watching professional sports and mystery series.
Bill is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sara
Hays; daughter Sally (Keith) Bishop; son Chris Hays; daughter Sharon
(Dale) Weber and her children, Michael and Matthew; and daughter
Sandy (Buddy) Burnf and her daughter, Jacquie.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on
Friday, September 14, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Cremation has
taken place. In lieu of flowers or other memorials, the family
requests that donations be made to the charity of one's choice. |
