Our beloved mother loved getting up early in the
morning to start her day. How appropriate that the Lord called her
home early in the morning on September 15, 2007 to abide with Jesus
and be reunited with her beloved husband, John.
Audrey was born Feb. 26, 1921 at Slayton, MT to
Elwin and Nettie (Wallaker) Forsyth. She attended school at Cushman,
MT and then the family moved to Laurel. She and John L. Beslanowitch
were married in Laurel, MT Aug 14, 1937. They lived there for a year
and then moved to Cushman where they lived until 1984. Audrey raised
a huge truck garden annually that produced vegetables for customers
near and far. Hard work was a way of life and the "farm" was the
center of their activity. Many of Audrey's quilts are still in
service today.
When John retired from the Railroad they sold the
farm and moved to Billings where she has lived ever since. John
preceded Audrey in death but son's Larry Beslanowitch (June) and
family of Washington State, a daughter, Joan Comly (Bud) and family
of Shepherd, MT and son Gary Beslanowitch (Kathy) and family of
Billings survive her. Seven grandchildren and seventeen great-
grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive her.
Audrey was a special caring lady and touched the
lives of all who knew her.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., on
Wednesday, September 19, at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. Rite of
Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Big Sky Hospice or the
charity of choice.
