Callan Taylor Pyburn-Cole

October 8, 2007 ~ October 9, 2007

God saw you were getting tired,

And a cure was not to be,

So he put his arms around you

And whispered, "Come to me."

With tearful eyes we watched you,

And saw you pass away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

Your golden heart stopped beating,

Your precious spirit at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

Though with us but briefly, Callan Taylor Pyburn-Cole profoundly affected forever the lives of those who loved him and greeted him into this world. Callan was born at Billings Clinic on October 8, 2007 and died two days later at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, on October 10, 2007 of Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease.

The son of Reid Taylor Pyburn and Shea Marion Cole, he gave his parents strength and taught them much which would belie his precious few hours. He brought family and friends closer, and brought them all a deeper appreciation for the true goodness and generosity of so many who care.

Young, Billings. He is also survived, by uncles, Taylor Cole and Dain Pyburn.

Preceding Callan in death were his great grandfather, Carroll Eliason, his great grandfather John Cole, and his great, great grandparents Edward and Sally Marion, and his great great grandmother Ruth Carpenter. He was also preceded in death by his great grandparents Keith and Marjorie Pyburn and his great grandfather Ronald W. Young.
