John B. Mueller

1934 - 2007

 

John B. Mueller, 73 of Billings passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007 at his home.

The son of John Kelso and Jette Mueller, John was born September 12, 1934 in Billings and was raised on his grandparent’s homestead at Worden.

He taught mathematics at Eastern Montana College (MSUB) for 34 years, retiring in 1996.

John met Sue Fisher at a mathematics conference. They would have been married 29 years this November.

Survivors include his wife Sue, two sons, Craig (Betsy) of Missoula and Alan of California, two daughters, Maridee Hargis (Mike) of Pennsylvania, and Terinda Papi of Washington, his brother Jerrol "Shorty" of Worden, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Bradley.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 11:00am Saturday at the Worden VFW.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Sky Hospice, PO Box 35033, Billings, MT 59107

I was sure sorry to hear about the death of your father. I recall the many times you and I went to his home on Ave C for help with our math homework while at West High. We would have failed if it weren't for him. You and your family are in my prayers. God Bless
