Jerry Sullivan, 80, of Billings died Wednesday May 17, 2007 at the Eagle Cliff Manor.

Jerry was born August 13, 1926 in Butte Montana the son of Jerry G Sullivan and Nora McGrath Sullivan. Jerry graduated from Butte Boys Central High School in 1944; he served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946 aboard the USS Crosley in the South Pacific during World War II. After the war, Jerry attended Carroll College for two years and graduated from the College of Great Falls in 1950.

Jerry began his career with Meadow Gold Dairy in 1951 as a bookkeeper in the Great Falls office, he moved to Billings in 1954. Jerry retired as the manager of the dairy in Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming in 1988.

Jerry was a member of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic parish, the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, and the Billings Rotary Club.

Jerry enjoyed golf, bowling and travel with family and friends including trips to Ireland, Mexico and the Panama Canal.

An avid sports fan he followed Billings High Schools, Rocky Mountain College and MSU Billings. Jerry enjoyed college football and particularly enjoyed several trips with friends to see Notre Dame play.

Jerry married Jean Ryan in Butte, December 27, 1951. Jerry and Jean attended school together starting in the first grade.

In addition to Jean, Jerry is survived by his 4 children, Dan (Kay) of Great Falls, Colleen of Whitefish, Larry of Helena and Jerry of Billings, sisters in law Pat Sullivan of Butte, Marjorie Tatarka of Billings, and brother in law Jim Ryan of St Paul MN. In addition numerous nieces and nephews survive.

Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers and sister, Fr. Joe Pat, Jack and Geraldine Robinson.

A rosary service will be held Sunday evening May 20th at 7PM in the Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary chapel. The funeral mass will be held 11:00 AM Monday May 21st at St Thomas the Apostle Church, located at Colton and Woody. Rite of Committal will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to a charity of choice.
