Elsie Stroud took the Lord's hand on May 2nd and followed him into Heaven to be greeted by her beloved husband Guy. She was ninety-one years old.

Elsie was born March 5th 1916 to Edward and Eliza Edwardson in Hanna Wyoming. She attended schools in Hanna, Kleenbum, and Sheridan Wyoming. She fell in love with Guy W. Elsie was passionate about her crocheting, baking, and tending to her flowers. She looked forward to her tulips every spring. Her beautiful dolls and afghans are treasured by her family, and no one will forget her fabulous pies and cinnamon rolls!

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Guy who died in 1980. She is survived by her sons: Edward and his wife Martha of Billings, and Donald and his wife Joanne of Oceanside, CA. Also surviving Elsie are her five grandchildren: Shelley Young and her husband Anthony of Federal Way, W A; Lacey Moos and her husband Greg of Billings; David Stroud of Rapid City, SD; Mike Stroud and his wife Taleen of Tampa, FL; and Dawn Stueckle and her husband Ron of San Francisco, CA along with eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Elsie's family would like to extend their deepest thanks and gratitude to the staff at Aspen Meadows, Billings Health and Rehabilitation, and Big Sky Hospice for the loving, kind, and wonderful care given to Elsie these last months.
