Remembrances

On May 24, 2007, Donna Mae (Evans) Baker, age 79, of Billings, Montana, passed away at Valley Health Care where she had been a resident since 1994.

Donna was born and received her education in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She was the oldest of three children born to Fred Evans and Gertrude (Gelling) Evans. She graduated from high school and Northern College in Aberdeen. During that period she enjoyed her job as an accountant with First National Bank and in 1953 moved to Los Angeles in the same capacity. While there she met and married Dyle Baker, they later made their home in Winston, Oregon. They moved to Billings in 1978 where Donna was employed as the accountant for Tracer Energy.

She loved music and was a choir director of the First Baptist Church in Aberdeen in the early 1950's

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dyle; son Donnie; and brother Bill. She is survived by her brother Alan Evans and his wife Sherry of Billings.

Cremation had taken place. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Wednesday, May 30, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, with Rev. James Fitzhugh officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
