Anarita Wittmer

Remembrances

Anarita Wittmer of Billings passed away at her home on March 6, 2007 with her loving husband at her side. She was born on April 13, 1935 in Melstone, Montana. She married Bill Wittmer on September 15, 1956. Anarita and Bill were blessed with four children, Patricia Ann (deceased at birth), LaDonna Kummerfeldt, Bill Wittmer (died in 1982), and Nancy Winge.

Anarita started a secretarial business in Billings in 1978 which blossomed into a very successful business. Being the loving and caring person that she was, she became a mother figure to her court reporters and all her other clients. Anarita was a very inspiring woman. She touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with, and will be greatly missed by her family and numerous friends.

Besides her husband Bill of Billings, and daughters, LaDonna Kummerfeldt and Nancy (Steve) Winge, both of Seattle, she is survived by three grandchildren, Mike, Crystal and Ryan Kummerfeldt also of Seattle; brother Marvin (Donna) Anderson; and her nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Purcell and his team at the Billings Clinic Cancer Center for their steadfast dedication and care of Anarita during her illness.

Vigil services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, March 9, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at St. Patrick’s Co-Cathedral. A luncheon will follow the Mass, and Rite of Committal will take place at 1:00 P.M. at Rosebud Cemetery in Absarokee, Montana.
