Novaria was born September 27, 1915 to Peter and Leditiza Iacopini, she was
the oldest of seven children. She died March 21, 2007 in Billings.
Jenny worked on the family farm until the age of 16 when she left to travel to Chicago to see the World’s Fair, later returning to Montana. Jenny met and married Ray Cantrell and to that union was the birth of three daughters, Helen, Ruth, and Patty. Jenny then met and married Battista Novaria, and to this union came the birth of there son Michael Novaria (Deceased..) Jenny and Battista also raised three granddaughters: Brenda Metzger, Shelly Metzger, and Wendy Metzger. Jenny had many jobs in her life of 91 years. She worked in the Billings Laundry, Northern Hotel, and was a cook for the Catholic schools. Most of all she was a home maker. Jeannette is survived by her two daughters, Helen Dschaak (Mel) and Patty Kass-Tucker. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Jeannette is preceded in death by her husband Battista, Daughter Ruth, and son Michael. She is also preceded in death by her parents and all siblings We hope you found peace, we will miss you very much, Grandma. The Family would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all the staff for the love and care that Grandma received while living at Ginny’s. We can not thank you enough. A memorial service celebrating Jeannette’s life will be held 3:00 PM Friday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Memorials may be made to an organization or charity of your choice.
