Clara Dell Autry, 83 of Billings, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Billings Clinic Hospital.

The daughter of Paul and Joy Maxwell, Clara was born in Roundup, MT. She graduated from Fairfield High School.

She worked as an executive secretary for a number of insurance companies and for Huskie Oil. She had lived and worked in eighteen different communities throughout her life.

She married Robert Lee Autry in 1974. She especially enjoyed the time they spent together in Nevada at the lake. She always caught the biggest fish.

Survivors include her daughter Robin Mohland and granddaughter Tina Mohland of Billings, stepsons, Brent and Byron Autry, and her brother Bob Maxwell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty in 1934, brother Reuben in 1945, her daughter Debbie Layne in 1959 and husband Robert in 2006.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside services are 2pm Friday, March 9, 2007 at Mountview Cemetery.
