Sheldon Sidney Olson, of Billings passed away April 19, 2007. He was born August 7, 1917 in Flaxville, Montana to Andrew B.Olson and Marie Johnson.

Sheldon joined the Navy in 1942 and met the love of his life Pauline Gregoryk while stationed in Seattle. The two were married shortly thereafter. After the Navy they made their home in Billings were Sheldon was a pipefitter /welder with Local #30 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for 50 years. For six of the years Sheldon served the Local as business agent.

Sheldon loved to play poker and take care of his lawn and roses.

Sheldon is preceded in death by his wife Paulene and parents.

Sheldon is survived by eight children Paulette, Sheldon, Richard, Donald, Penny, John, Larry, and Thomas, all of Billings. Sheldon is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Pius X Church. The Rite of Committal and Military Honors will follow at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
