Dell Lough, 90 of Billings, passed away on April 7, 2007 at the Vista at
Mission Ridge. Dorothy was born March 21, 1917 in St John, Washington. She
lived in Claskston WA and Lewiston, ID before moving to Billings with her
parents Cecil and Mildred Dell.
Dorothy graduated from Billings High School and Montana State University, receiving a graduate degree from New York University. She then moved to Los Angeles and worked at Lockheed Aircraft during World War II. Dorothy married Richard C. Lough at Camp Swift, Texas in October 1942. After the war, Dorothy and Richard lived in Los Angeles until moving to Billings in 1949. Richard passed away in 1983. Once in Billings, Dorothy worked at the Hart Albin Bookstore and retired as manager after 20 years of service. She enjoyed family, church, friends, books, travel, and hard work. Dorothy is survived by four children Margaret of Donald OR, Robert of Billings, Bruce of Red Lodge, and Douglas of Las Vegas. Cremation had taken place. Memorial services will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 10, at First Congregational Church. Her urn will be placed in the Mausoleum at Mountview Cemetery. |
