Mrs. Junia Campbell, age 95, died April 15th at St. Vincent Hospital. June lived most of her long life in Billings. She worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company for over forty-five years. She met her husband, James G.T. Campbell at the telephone company after he immigrated to the United States from Scotland after World War II. June and Jim loved to travel, and enjoyed spending summer holidays hauling their trailer to Red Lodge, Bozeman and Las Vegas. After June retired she volunteered at Deaconess Hospital and later at the Moss Mansion. After Jim’s death in December 1994 June moved to Westpark Village where she lived for the past nine years. June was preceded in death by her brother Harry Mardaus and her husband Jim Campbell. She is survived by her niece Janene Alberda and her husband Dale who live in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. She also is survived by nine great nieces and nephews including Justin, Austin and Erin Alberda of Seattle, Alexandra, Stephanie and Tristan Alberda of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Regan Alberda of Washington, D.C., plus nine great-great nieces and nephews. Interment will take place at Mountview Cemetery. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
