Anita Elizabeth Kahmer Bell, 59 of Billings, passed away on January 21, 2006 at
St. Vincent Healthcare, following a battle with cancer.
Anita was born on October 16, 1946 in Baltimore, MD to Louis an Alma (
Herda) Kahmer, Jr. She
attended schools in the Baltimore area, receiving a BS in Elementary Education
at Salisbury State University. She
finalized her education with a Masters Equivalent in Elementary Education, going
on to teach in the Baltimore County area for 13 years.
Anita was married to Fred S. Bell, III on June 25, 1967.
Together they had two children, Garrick A. Bell and Wendelyn E. Bell.
Following the birth of her children, she taught pre-kindergarten
part-time while rasing her family.
Her husband Fred’s job moved them to Billings in 1993, where they have resided
since.
Anita is survived by her husband, Fred S. Bell, III, of Billings; children,
Garrick “Gary” Bell, currently of Dayton, OH, while attending the Air Force
Institute of Technology, and Wendelyn “Wendy” Bell of York, PA, finishing her
MBA at York College in December and working as an underwriter at Lincoln General
Insurance Company; father, Louis V. Kahmer; brother, Albert Kehmer; and sisters,
Beth Ardilia and Kathy Kahmer.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial
services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at
Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
