Richard Edmond Lee
Richard Edmond Lee passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Hanson Cottage in Billings. He will be greatly missed by all.
Rich was born in Oswego on Oct. 16, 1920, to parents Olaf and Ethel Lee. He grew up in Billings with his twin brother Don and younger brother Bob. He graduated from Senior High School and enlisted in the Army Air Corp. After an honorable discharge, he returned in Billings to work for the family business.
On Oct. 29, 1955, Rich married the love of his life, Sharon Jacobson. They raised four beautiful children, Charmaine, Rich, Tamara and Sonja. Rich was a lifetime member of the YMCA and also loved to golf and ski. His major passion was spending time at East Rosebud Lake fishing and hiking. Rich was very active for many years at the First Congregational Church of Billings. He was involved in many community organizations such as The Yellowstone Kiwanis Club and The Shriners. He was also a member of the Montana Realtors Association for most of his career.
Rich is preceded in death by his father and mother, Olaf and Ethel Lee, brothers Don and Bob, and wife of 45 years, Sharon.
He is survived by his children, Charmaine, Rich, Tamara and Sonja, sons-in-law, Neil LiBrock and Harry Dohalick, daughter-in-law, Chris Lee and grandsons, Jordan and Jared Dohalick and Joshua, Dylan and Tanner Lee.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church in Billings on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the YMCA of Billings or the First Congregational Church.
