Charlotte Elizabeth Mariscal
Charlotte Elizabeth Mariscal (Stang) was 74 years old and went to heaven from her home on Thursday May 12th.
She was born at home in Frenchtown Montana on the family farm. She was the youngest of 13 children. The family moved to Stevensville, Montana where she attended grade school and later graduated from Hellgate H.S. in Missoula. She moved to Billings shortly after that and met her husband of 54 years Raymond.
They had three children together. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She worked as a waitress but her favorite job was being a grandma to her five grandchildren. This is evident from all the photographs displayed throughout the home. Her family and friends could always depend on her for a laugh and smile and some honest truth. She lived in Montana her whole life and hated the cold winters. She was the Montana Grizzles football team’s most devoted fan. Camping, travel and crosswords puzzles were some of the things she enjoyed in her leisure. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband Raymond, daughter Jackie Andrews and sons Rick and Jason all of Billings, 4 grandchildren, Jeremy Kazda, Jesse Pirtz, Kelli Lehigh, and Raylee Mariscal, great grandchild Josie Pirtz and sister Helen Isaacs.
Preceding her in death are her parents Joseph and Margaret Stang, brothers Alvin, Leo, Joseph “Butts”, Bob, Eddie and Frances, and sisters Maggie Rome, Leona and Josephine Scheeler.
Cremation has taken place and at Charlotte’s request no services are planned.

Dear Raymond, Jackie, Rick and Jason,
Josh and I are so sorry for your loss. We loved Charlotte very much and
will truly miss her. We are so sorry that you all are grieving and wish
we could ease your pain. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Our
thoughts are with you all always. Love, Elaine and Josh Harmoning
My family will always remember Charlotte. She was
a great friend and sister-in-law. We'll remember the laughs and good
times we had together. She was closer to us, even more than some of my
sisters. We are happy to have her in our lives. Rest in Peace.
Love,
Becky, Les & Carol
Uncle Ray, Jackie, Rick, and Jason:
I feel really sad about Aunt Charlotte passing on. We talked twice
during the week of our birthdays, and I saw her twice since at WalMart.
I will really miss our talks, even though they were spaced too far
between. She would sing happy birthday to me over the phone. I’ll never
forget.
She stayed with us in Missoula while she got her diploma from Hellgate.
I think maybe I was not born yet. She visited us several times, and I
remember Jackie coming along. She would ride the NP from Billings. I got
mad because she wouldn’t let me go with her. She told me she was going
crazy. She wouldn’t let me go crazy with her and laughed and laughed.
Well, please let me know when you hold a memorial or anything like that.
I would like to be there. I don’t have a land line anymore, but my cell
is 670-2591.
I love you all very much – I am just crappy at keeping in touch. Gary
Rome.
