Martin Joseph "Marty" Loftus

Martin Joseph "Marty" Loftus, 82, of Clovis, NM died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Billings, Montana. Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday June 7, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Carlos Chaves officiating. Rosary will be held 6 PM Monday June 6, 2011 at Muffley Funeral Home.

Marty was born June 13, 1928 to Patrick Vincent and Kathren (Fitzgerald) Loftus in Throop, PA. He Received a Masters in Business from ENMU and served 21 years as a Pilot for the US Air Force retiring from Cannon AFB in 1970. He was a member of Sacred Heart, Executive Club, Order of Daedalian, NRA, life member of MOAA, Sabre Pilots Association, and Super Sabre Society.

Survivors include two daughters, Theresa (Mark) Hodin of Buffalo, NY, and Michelle (Paul) Collins of Billings, Montana; a son, Michael (Jeanne) Loftus of Sacremento, CA; and six grandchildren, Riley Hodin, Max Hodin, Shane Foxx, Tarah Foxx, Ian Fitzgerald Collins, and Benjamin Collins. He was preceded in death by hs parents, Patrick and Kathren; and a brother, James Michael Loftus.
