Patricia "Patty" Brickley Doely
Patty Doely, 85 of Billings, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Billings Clinic from complications of Alzheimers disease.
One of eight children she was born July 25, 1925 to Halsey and Mary Brickley in Columbus, Mt.
Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers, Phil Brickley (Blanche), John Brickley (Jean), Richard Brickley ( Gloria), and sister Marjorie Hinman (Jack).
She is survived by her husband Hank Doely, brothers James Brickley (Jennie) of Greely, CO., Donald Brickley (Shirley) of Arvada, CO, and Robert Brickley of Fairbanks, AK.
Patty was married on October 19, 1947 to Henry M. Doely “Hank” in Billings. They shared four sons, Stephen (Ellen) of Molt, MT, Thomas (Gary) of Phoenix, AZ, Gregory of Powell, WY, and Scott of Worden, MT, five grandchildren, Laurie (Craig), Eric, Gerritz, Kristensen, and Brickley, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Patty grew up and attended schools in Rapelje, graduating as Valedictorian from Rapelje High School in 1943.
From January 1950 to January 1995 with her husband Hank she owned and operated the Rapelje Mercantile and US POST OFFICE, RAPELJE, MONTANA 59067.
Patty was a member of the Bitterroot Chapter #96 Eastern Star and was a Past Worthy Matron. She enjoyed and sponsored bowling teams at the Air Bowl, Center, and Fireside Lanes. Championship teams and top scores were common place. She retired in 1995 and resided in Billings until her death.
Patty was our wife, mother, grandmother and a good friend to many.
Her family would like to thank all the caregivers at Valley View Care Home and Highgate for their care of our wife and mother.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2011 at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.

of your dear Mom. I know how much you meant to each other—her love and
support in the earlier years of your life matched in kind by your loving
attentiveness throughout her life, but most especially in these
challenging later years. I know her family that has already passed
