Karen Staley Glasser
The worldly life of Karen Staley Glasser ended Sunday, July 10, 2011, lovingly surrounded by her family.
Karen Marie Staley was born in Billings, Montana on December 10, 1944, the daughter of George H and Ethel (Mann) Staley. The love for and from her family were her most precious gifts in life. Through both good and bad times, her love never faltered for her children: Beth, Caryl, Steven and Deena.
Karen always enjoyed a good laugh and enjoyed times spent with her family and friends. Times spent with her grandchildren were especially dear to her heart. Upon her marriage to Henry Glasser on September 27, 2001, she was blessed with his love, children and extended family.
Karen was predeceased by her father and brother.
Survivors include her husband, mother, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, sister-in-law, step-mother and the Glasser family.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held 10am Wednesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Private interment services are planned at a later date.
"Be patient with life, despite its cruelty.
Often it seems careless of our pain,
But just as often brings us hope again.
Remember, I wanted happiness for you.
Under every foolish word this still was true.
Be happy, then, without, as you would with me.
In your life may sweet events remain.
Not in anguish, but in joy remember me."

Remembrances
Dave and I offer our condolences to the family of Karen. We loved her as our family member for many years. She saw us occasionally and we visited like old times. We would catch up on our children and grandchildren whereabouts. She was only to proud to tell us about another grandchild or visiting them. It was nice to see her chipper face and hear her laugh, as I remember many time hearing it. You had a wonderful mother and mentor for many years, and now you have her memory to carry with you. We had lots of fun together (cruises, dances, dinners, etc.) and I will always have a kind thought about her. She wrote a poem about the baby we had lost, and I still have it. I read it every now and again, and think about how that got me through some rough times in my life. We are going to miss her and will always remember “our Karen”. May God give you the strength and Blessings at your loss!
Our Love in Christ
