Jeannine J. Frank
Jeannine J. Frank, 46 of Laurel, passed away at her home following a 3 year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Jeannine was born on August 22, 1964 in Columbus, MT, the daughter of Charles and Patricia (Sands) Kauffmann. She attended school in Park City, graduating from Park City High School in 1982.
While in high school, she met her future husband Curtis Frank of Laurel. She and Curt were married on October 5, 1984. Three children were born to this union, Justin, Jeff, and Nicole.
Jeannine worked at First Interstate Bank in Billings for nearly 18 years. Failing health forced her to retire in 2010.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed their times together outdoors. She loved being surrounded by nature, whether it was hunting, fishing, collecting agates, camping or just enjoying the beauty of the world. She was a great cook, loved her puzzles, beading, and crafts. She was always thinking of others, picking up gifts for those she loved along the way.
Jeannine is survived by her husband Curt; sons Justin and Jeff Frank, all of Laurel; sister Theresa Kauffmann and niece Jordan of Billings; brother Ron Sands and family of Maine; beloved dogs Max and Dozer; and several relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Nicole; brother Chuck Kauffmann.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. David Christianson and the staff at Frontier Cancer Center for their support and care over the course of Jeannine’s illness, as well as the staff of RiverStone Hospice for their compassion and assistance.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Memorials may be given to a cancer organization of the donor’s choice.
