Julie A. May (Miller) Gray
Julie A. May (Miller) Gray was born on February 7, 1964 to the proud parents, Olga (Jovanovich) and Ron May. She left this earth on Sunday, February 27, 2011.
Julie graduated from Billings West High School in 1982. She was employed at several different hotels and motels in the Billings area.
In 1985 she married Allen Miller and had two lovely daughters Whitney and Tina. They later divorced. In 1994 she married Toby Gray and had a son Coby and a daughter Cheyenne.
When she was diagnosed with breast cancer she met this challenge with a positive “Let’s get it done” attitude. She walked a long five-year path of radiation and chemotherapy without complaining and maintaining her unique sense of humor. When chemo took her hair, she said, “Great! Now I don’t have to worry about a bad hair day.” When it was determined that her cancer had spread and treatment was not longer possible, she accepted this news with a calm dignity.
Julie loved angels and her home attested to this as it was filled with angel figurines and pictures.
Julie is survived by her parents Olga and Ron May of Billings; a sister Lori May Estrada and husband Tony of Sacramento, California; a son Coby Gray and daughters Cheyenne Gray, Tina Miller, Whitney Miller, Ben Adame and grandson Ayden Adame of Billings; loving uncles Don May (Connie) of Puyallup, Washington and George Jovanovich and special aunt Millie Clark and her best friend and caregiver Stacey Wise all of Billings. She will also be missed by her numerous cousins and friends who loved her.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Martin Lucas and the loving staff of the Frontier Cancer Center and Riverstone Hospice. If you have never believed in angels then you have never met these caring people.
Funeral services will be held at Central Christian Church, 1221 16th Street West, Thursday March 3rd at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
Memorials may be given to Central Christian Church, The American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice

Dear
Victor and Barbara,
I am sorry to read of the passing of your mother. My name is Marilyn
Rigby, my father is Bill Jones, my grandfather was Johnny Jones. You
mother is my dad’s aunt. We have talked of your mother many times over
the years and my parents tried to locate her when they have visited
Billings and Roundup, but we did not know her name. I received the
obituary from Joy Grunstead, a relative of my grandmother Irene Jones
who lives in Billings.
It sounds as though your mother led a wonderful life. I wish that I
would have had the opportunity to meet her. I would loved to have heard
some of the stories of her life and childhood and learned more about the
Jones side of my family.
Please accept my condolences. My parents, Bill and JoAnn Jones,
requested I send their condolences to your family also.
Marilyn Rigby
