Evelyn Leo Jennings

Evelyn Leo Jennings, 93 of Billings, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Nursing Home.
The daughter of Sam and Mary Leo, Evie was born September 13, 1917 in Miles City. She married Tommy Jennings in Portland, OR. Tommy preceded her in death in 1969.
Evie worked as an office clerk for GAF Corporation until retiring in 1982 and moving to Billings to be closer to family. She has made her home at St. John’s Lutheran Nursing Home since 2004.
Evie was preceded in death by her husband Tommy, her parents, three sisters, Mary Jurica, Lena Berry, and Stella Banks, and 1 niece.
She is survived by her brother Pete Leo of Miles City and 9 nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 11AM Wednesday in the Ocee Johnson Chapel at St. John’s Lutheran Nursing Home. Evie is to be interred with Tommy in the Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.
