although my dad and I were hundreds of miles away from each other I still felt like he was right next door. he was a great dad and made me who I am today as a man and as a father myself. He taught me respect and to work hard in life as he did. I loved when we were kids when we went camping and fishing and just enjoyed the family time we had with each other. my dads with god now and is no longer suffering from his illness and I'm sure he's looking down on us and saying its ok I'm no longer feeling the pain. I love you dad and you will be greatly missed.
MIKE

I went to high school with Chris in Thermopolis, Wyoming.  He was such a nice person then and it sounds like he was a wonderful father and will be loved and missed by his family.  When I heard he was living in Montana I always thought I would call and see how he was doing and the years passed and I didn't. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Mike you said it well. I have great memories of us camping and fishing. Dad had a great personality and a prankster at times. I know dad was very proud of his children and grandchildren. It gives us piece knowing dad is now with GOD and no longer in pain. Dad you will be deeply missed you where always there for me and I thank you for that.
