Ralph F. Klein
Ralph F. Klein, 86 of Billings,
passed away at Valley Healthcare on November 23. Ralph was
born on June 24, 1924 in New Salem, North Dakota, the son of
Mike and Mathilda (Emmineth) Klein.
He married Anna Knoll in Bismarck, ND on April 12, 1944.
They later moved to Billings where they have made their home
since. In Billings, Ralph worked for Consolidated Freight as
a Freight Loader for more than 40 years, retiring in 1984.
Ralph enjoyed spending time in later years having a hand in
building a log home on Buffalo Trail Road, along with many
members of his family. He enjoyed woodwork and spent
countless hours constructing custom made crosses, Jesus
signs, and unique Reindeer in his spare time.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anna of Billings;
children Clifford (Vicki) Klein, Jerry (Hazel) Klein,
Claudia (Joe) Imbriani, Bonita (Jonathan) DeWald, and Susan
Bailey (Doug Lazz); daughter-in-law, Marilyn Klein; 15
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; all 14 of his
siblings; son James Klein; and son-in-law, Larry Bracken.
The casket will be open for visitation on Friday and
Saturday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m, Sunday, 12 p.m. until the
conclusion of the vigil. Vigil services will be held at 5
p.m., Sunday, November 28, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
Cremation to follow. Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00
A.M., Monday, at St. Pius X Church followed by a reception.
Rite of Committal will take place at Laurel City Cemetery
following lunch.
Memorials may be made to Valley Healthcare, Alzheimer’s Association, or the charity of one’s choice.
