Mildred (Millie) Dukart, age 85, passed away in Billings on November 12, 2010 following a stroke. She passed away surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Millie was born in Dickinson, North Dakota to Joseph and Christina Kostelecky on January 2, 1925. She married Jack Dukart in Dickinson on October 26, 1950 and shortly after their marriage moved to Billings to start their family. They spent 39 happy years together until Jack's death in 1989.

She is survived by five children; Terrence (JoAnn) Dukart, Sandy Johnson, Keith (J erilyn) Dukart, Scott (Laurie) Dukart all of Billings, Debbie (Mel) Sticka of Nampa, Idaho. She had eleven grandchildren: Samantha (Todd) Brownson, Joseph (Megan) Dukart, Michelle and Danny Sticka, Brandon Johnson, Brittany (Mike) Feist, Brian, Jake, and Melissa Dukart, Ryan (Jamie) Arnold, and Kirk (Kelli) Dukart, and seven great- grandchildren. She also has one brother, Eddie (Angie) Kostelecky of Dickinson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack; three brothers Charles, George and Albert Kostelecky and two sisters, Martha Dunnigan and Elsie Haag.

Millie lived a full life surrounded by her family and many friends. She loved baseball and never missed one of her children's or grandchildren's games. She enjoyed ceramics, baking, candy making, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Millie was a waitress for 40 years, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We will miss her wonderful sense of humor.

Visitation will be held at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary on Tuesday the 16th from 2 - 8 p.m. Vigil Service is Wednesday, November 17th at Michelotti-Sawyers at 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at Little Flower Church on Thursday, November 18th at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Billings American Legion Baseball Post 4, P.O. Box 22525, Billings MT 59104.
