Add Your Remembrance

To the family of Angie Verdi,

My wife, Corky, and I remember Angie as a person who loved everyone she met!  She served as a lady housekeeper at Meadowlark Elementary School, where I was Principal, for five years.

Angie had outstanding work ethics and she always did her best.  When she had extra time at Meadowlark, she would assist teachers and volunteer to help in the first-grade rooms just to be near children.  I recall with fondness several times that I'd be having coffee or breakfast with retired men at Hardees, and I'd hear Angie's voice resonating, "Helooooo Mr. Knebel".

Those of us who knew Angie well realize that she loved God with all of her heart, and she loved serving people.  It was a joy to have known Angie.

Dear Verde Family,

I am very sorry to hear of Angie's passing.  Angie was a terrific neighbor to our family. Angie was the last of the original group that was on Clark Street. I will always cherish the memories of Angie's visits to our house and miss all of her great advise.  May God bless you all at this most difficult time.

Anthony, Sister Angela Marie, Sister Joan Marie, & Erika ,
My sincere sympathy in the loss of your mom, I went to the service and thought it was very sincere with all of the talk in regards to your mom, the only thing you guys forgot was that she watched over all of the people of Clark Street, and it was very much appreciated. She was a godsend when we lost Mom and then again when we lost Dad. I really appreciate all of her kindness during that time.
God bless your family and know in your hearts she is still close to you
