Brooke Samantha Cady

Brooke was born in Billings, Montana on
August 12, 1981.
Brooke started school at Burlington
Elementary and then moved to Poplar, back to Billings at Arrowhead,
and then finally Laurel. Brooke spent Jr. High and High school in
Laurel, graduating in 1999. Brooke was very active in sports playing
baseball, basketball, volleyball, and softball and continued playing
summer softball league her entire life.
Brooke grew up camping, water skiing,
fishing, and enjoying being outside as long as her family was there.
Brooke was very artistic and has many drawings that were given to
family and friends. Brooke would often spend time at night just
drawing in her sketch book. Family was extremely important to Brooke
and her favorite place in the world was Silvergate and Yellowstone
Park. The family reunions at Silvergate, just hanging out there and
in Yellowstone were the happiest times in her life. Brooke attended
college at Rocky, MSU-B and also was in the paramedic program at the
College of Technology. Brooke worked at Famous Dave's for the last
seven years and while she was attending school. Brooke had a warm
smile for everyone she met and people often said that when they met
her, they felt like they had known her forever. Brooke's best friend
was her mother, Mary and they did everything together. Brooke and
her mom would speak on the phone several times every day and made
all the biggest decisions and solved all the world's problems
together. Brooke's sister Bailey, and brothers, Travis, Justin, and
Dustin all had special relationships and couldn't be apart for long
or at least not talk on the phone every day. Brooke was her dad
Mark's little "buddy" and spent many days just going for family
drives and exploring new parts of the country.
A couple of years ago Brooke met Kori
Alvarado on a blind date and a lasting romance developed. They spent
all their time together and moved into Kori's house. On December 31,
2009 they had a son, Kaden Jax Alvarado. Brooke found the career she
had always been looking for as a mother. Kaden and Brooke bonded so
deeply and Brooke became the most caring and loving mother. Brooke's
whole world revolved around Kaden. Brooke suddenly died on March
8th.
Brooke is survived by her parents, Mark and
Mary Cady, her sister Bailey and Brother Travis of the family home,
Her brothers Justin and Dustin of Albany Oregon, the loves of her
life Kaden and Kori, Kori's parents Victor and Lori Alvarado, Kori's
sister and brother in law Laci and Jake, her grandmother Sally
O'Malley Coffman, her Aunts Barbie, Sara, and Liz, Uncle John, and
numerous cousins and friends everywhere.

Mark and Mary,
Mary, I can remember when you would bring Brook into work to see Mark. She was Daddy's little buddy then. She always remembered Jim and I when we saw her and would come over and say hello at Famous Daves. She was a bright spot in this world and I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart is aching for you and the kids. Sibyl Schug
You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss...Brooke was a great person and will be missed.
I remember hanging out when we were kids and building forts, skating, swimming, and having a lot of fun! Please let me know if I can do anything for you.

Our family has so many good memories of Brooke during the years you lived next door to us. I don't think there were too many days that Brooke and our girls didn't get together and play whether it was jumping on your trampoline," fighting" over "rights to the fort" in the field, playing in the "big hole", spending the night in our camp trailer or just hanging out together. Even though we lost touch with Brooke over the years our girls still talk fondly of their times spent with her and she will always be a big part of their childhood memories. You are all in our prayers and thoughts as you go through this tough time. We will always remember Brookie and feel blessed to have known her.

To the Cady family,
I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to know Brooke. I enjoyed working with her at CJ's and most of all being her friend. I wish I could say or do something that would make this difficult time for you seem all better. But I can't. I feel very blessed and honored that I had the opportunity to know such a wonderful person. The memories that I have of Brooke will be cherished forever. My family and I will pray that you can make it through this difficult and unbelievable time. You will be missed Brooke.
Prayers,
Dan Gavinsky and family
Brooke was always so happy and energetic. She loved life and it showed it all that she did. She was a great classmate and my thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. So terrible to see a young life gone.

Brooke,
I am so shocked and devastated. I find myself at a loss for words. You were such a close friend. I will never forget some of our favorite memories that we would joke about many years after they happened. From 'tokens' to our favorite Buckcherry songs. We made so many fun and crazy memories over a number of years. I find myself believing that this cannot have happened. This was not your time and you were taken from us way too soon. You will never be forgotten! You were a wonderful friend and will be missed dearly. Rest in peace Brooke.
