Alice Tevlin Bridge
Alice Tevlin Bridge, 80, of Billings,
MT, formerly of Freehold NJ, passed away Tuesday June 1, 2010 in
Billings, MT in the presence of family members.
Alice was born August 13, 1929, Maywood,
NJ, the daughter of Herman and Philomena Herzog. She was one of
five siblings.
Alice married Raymond J. Tevlin on May
12, 1951 in Maywood, NJ. Alice and Ray enjoyed 50 years of
marriage. They had five children Barbara, Terry, Jackie, Jim and
Tom. Alice and Ray enjoyed trips to the Jersey shore, gardening
and the company of their neighbors. She held various positions
in New Jersey but her most predominate was with the Freehold
Savings and Loan, were she worked for several years. She retired
in 1986 when she, Ray and their beloved poodle, Pooh, retired to
Kissimmee, Florida. Her parents, husband Ray, and her sister Kay
preceded her in death. Alice married Wallace Bridge of
Kissimmee, FL on October 18, 2002.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace
Bridge of Kissimmee, FL, sister June Poremba of West Long
Branch, NJ, brother Philip Scrivens of Tampa, FL, daughter
Barbara Chepulis and son-in-law John Chepulis of Brick, NJ,
daughter Terry Tevlin of Bayville, NJ, daughter Jackie Dymond of
Apopka, FL, son Jim Tevlin and daughter-in-law Margie Tevlin of
Billings, MT, son Tom Tevlin and daughter-in-law Cheryl Tevlin
of Ocean Springs, MS, step-daughters Alex McNeil and Debbie
Morrill of Kissimmee, FI and grandchildren Brian Chepulis,
Michael ,Robby, Kyle, Samantha and Paul Tevlin.
The family would like to thank the staff
of Jensen Cottage for their care and compassion of Alice during
the last weeks of her life.
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside family memorial service will take place.
