Nina Kuehne
Nina Kuehne, 97 of Billings, passed away at Valley Health Care
in Billings on Thursday, July 15, 2010, surrounded by her loving
family. She suffered a stroke, on July 7th.
She was born May 29, 1913 near Oswego, MT to Fred and Alice
Resech. She attended rural schools in the area and high school
in Bozeman. During her youth, she broke and trained many horses.
She married Henry Kuehne on December 10, 1937 in Glendive and
farmed in the Vida area. Nina loved gardening and canning. She
was active in her church and taught Sunday school over 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Henry, and grandson
Johnie. Nina is survived by sons Edwin (Sandra) of Missoula,
Melvin (Cora Lee) of Helena and Harold (Alice) of Columbus; 10
grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be 10am
Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Missoula.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
