Remembrances
Please leave your name and remembrance in this public guest book. Your comments will be shared on this page and forwarded to the family.
Gary,
Pat, Kenny and families,
Our sympathy to all of you.
We were saddened to hear about your Mom's passing. It was so good that
you all were able to see her.
We didn't get to see your Mom too often in later years--seems like it
was for a family funeral in Plentywood. I remember when your folks
stopped to visit us in Mahnomen. I think they had been in Minneapolis
and were on their way home.
Mom (Myrtle) was just with all of us in MN for her great-granddaughter's
first birthday and I just took her home Saturday.
I always remember your Mom as such a bubbly and smiling person.
We will be keeping you in our prayers.

Dear Gary and Family,
We all have been thinking of you this past week. I am so sorry
that I will not be able to come for the service. I wish more
than anything I could. You made a special effort to bring Millie
and Berniece to Dad's funeral and that meant the world to us. I
feel so bad I can not be there. I have so many special memories
of Millie. Trying to condense so many into a paragraph is
impossible but... When I was maybe 6 or 7 our family went to
Disney Land. We drove to Billings and spent the night at your
parents home. I remember sleeping in the upstairs bedroom.
Millie came in and sat at the side of my bed and told me
stories. I can not remember the stories, but I remember her
sitting with me for quite a while and I enjoyed every minute of
it! Then in 1984 when Dad got sick and was flown to Billings, I
went to Billings for a couple of days and stayed with Millie.
How nice it was to be with someone so cheerful and could make
you laugh when you thought your world was crashing down around
you. The first time I lived in Billings (late 80s) Millie and
Berniece would call me frequently to go eat at either Deaconess
or Family Diner. At Deaconess cafeteria is where I met Margie's
Mom and Grandma. This last time I lived in Billings we also went
to eat frequently. Especially when I lived on Burlington Ave.
Many times Millie insisted that she would pick me up because she
wanted to drive. Many fond memories at her place on 29th. We
would sit and look at old pictures that you Dad had taken over
the years. She would tell me stories of the past and we would
laugh! I got to hear stories about my Grandma and Grandpa Waller
and Dad and Millie's childhood. Like I said, I could go on and
on, but I won't. I will really miss her laugh, her personality,
the happiness she brought into my life, and her as a wonderful
Aunt.
Sandy
