Sharon I. Woodard


Sharon I. Woodard passed away peacefully on Dec. 24, 2010. She was born February 27, 1940, in Pocatello, Idaho. She was the second oldest of four children of Arnold and Bernice Trappett. Sharon is survived by her brother Jeff of Pocatello, ID.

Sharon married Cleve Woodard on March 19, 1960. They have three children, Greg of Seattle, Rich of Morris, IL and Cindy Jacobs of Billings. Cleve and Sharon have three grand children, Michael, Derek and Tommy.

Sharon was a homemaker until 1983 when Cleve and Sharon purchased the Ben Franklin store in Big Timber, MT. In 1999 Cleve and Sharon moved to Billings to retire. Sharon worked for a while at Herbergers.

Sharon loved her family and friends and enjoyed travelling, playing cards, cooking, baking and gardening. Sharon loved the holidays and loved to decorate for the holidays, especially for Christmas. She belonged to the New Comers Club in Billings and several card groups.

Sharon will be remembered for her kindness and sense of humor. Memorial services for Sharon will be held at First Alliance Church, 1835 Central Ave in Billings on Wednesday, Dec 29 at 11:00AM.
