Arnold Glatt
"Arnie"
Arnold (Arnie) Glatt, 73 of Billings, passed away on August 20,
2010. Arnie was born on July 14, 1937 to Fred and Eva (Meier)
Glatt in Roscoe, South Dakota. He was the 3rd of 5 children,
treasured brother of Sister Marie Damian Glatt, Larry (Sue)
Glatt and Jim(Diane) Glatt.
He enlisted in the navy, after attending Billings Central
Catholic High School, where he learned the trade of electrician.
In 1958 he married the love of his life, Loretta Schaff, who was
his best friend’s sister. To this union 4 children were born.

Glatt.
Arnie had many vocations throughout his career, including auto
service repair supervisor, sales representative for a
distribution company, owner of A& L TV, bus driver for Ryder,
Greyhound and most recently for Powder River. During this time
Arnie also maintained a reputable status as an appliance and TV
repairman.
Through all his vocations Arnie enjoyed working with people and
was a natural salesman and conversationalist. Along with Arnie’s
devotion to his life’s work, his family was his first priority.
Arnie is survived by his wife, Lorie, his 4 children, 15
grandchildren, Sarah and Laura Glatt, Adam, Derek, Gwynn and
Kevin Lauwers, Josua and Steven Lauwers, Mary, Jake, Ann, Clara,
Joseph, Maggie and Thomas Glatt and 1 great grandchild, Dominic
Glatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Katherine.
Vigil services will be 7pm Tuesday at Michelotti-Sawyers
Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be 10:30am Wednesday at Holy Rosary
Church.

my deepest sympathy to the Glatt family. i was the bus aide on Arnie's bus for many years at Ryder. he also fixed every vcr I have ever owned, he was a great man and i personally had many laughs with him . my thoughts are with your family. Kelley Mahan
