Carlyn Beck Linfield, Becky, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother passed away April 2, 2010.

A daughter of Chris and Mary Beck, Becky was born June 21, 1930 in Great Falls, Montana. The family lived in Straw and Valier and settled in Choteau, where she attended school.

She attended MSU in Bozeman where she met her future husband Bill Linfield. They were married in Bozeman September 1951.

For several years they traveled Wyoming working with an oil survey crew.

In 1955 Bill and Becky settled in Billings and raised their family. Volunteering at The Friendship House and Billings Studio Theater was a big part of Becky's life, as was playing card games with her family and the regular bridge clubs.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Wes.

Becky is survived by husband Bill, children, Kori (Tom) McCormick, Janet (Robert) Hammond, and Bill (Robin) Linfield; grandchildren, Taelor, Michael, David, Jordyn, and Karson, and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held 11am Wednesday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.

Memorials in Becky’s name may be sent to the American Legion or the charity of your choice.

Becky was a wonderful roommate at Hamilton Hall in 1948 and 1949.  

She had a marvelous sense of humor and was a delight to be around.  I shall miss her wonderful letters and e-mails.  Her family was lucky to have such a marvelous member.  Shelley O'Connell Smith
