Evelyn Coe

Evelyn Coe, 82, of Billings, MT died April 14, 2010 in Billings. Evelyn was born March 4, 1928, in Joliet, Montana to Jake and Pauline Dietz and was baptized into the Christian faith on April 26, 1931.

Before retiring in 1997, Evelyn worked as a caregiver at Little Seeds Daycare.

Mom had a good life and the best gift she ever gave her children was the gospel of Jesus Christ. On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand All Other Ground is Sinking Sand became her mantra as she endured many treatments for cancer. She fought the good fight and is now with Jesus and her physical form rests waiting the day when Christ will return and call her to him.

Preceding Evelyn in death are her parents Jake and Pauline; son Gary Allen Coe; brothers Arthur Dietz, Christ Dietz, Ray Dietz, Harold Dietz, and Robert Dietz; sisters Edith Dietz, Ella Boucher, and Viola Foust.

Evelyn is survived by her three children, Patty Coe Clark McFadden (Richard), Jim Coe (Cynthia), and Cathy Coo all of Billings. Her grandchildren are Gary Clark of Billings, Angie Clark Iffland (Kevin) of Shepherd, Sarah McFadden of Billings, Shannon Coe and Deirdre Coe of Billings (Missoula). Evelyn's great grandchildren are Keena Iffland and Zach Iffliand of Shepherd.

Her surviving brothers and sisters are Mel Dietz (Lois) Worland, WY, Violet Davis, Anaheim, CA, Barbara Long (Laurel, MT), Betty Martinson (Dick) Forsythe, MT
