Frances Ann Phillips

Frances Phillips

Fran Phillips, of Billings, passed away on Oct. 5, 2009, of natural causes.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1933, in Pampa, Texas, to Ray and Bonnie Miller. She traveled during her childhood, living in many different states. She met the love of her life, Victor Phillips in Casper, Wyo., whom she married in December of 1949.  Vic and Fran were blessed with four children, whom they cherished and loved dearly.

Fran enjoyed traveling with Vic all over the U.S. in their motor home.

They loved boating and fishing in Canyon Ferry, where they had a home for many years. In the later years, they spent many winters in Arizona, spending time with beloved friends. Fran enjoyed making jewelry, shopping on QVC, going to church, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a special connection with each one of her grandchildren and would do anything for them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Bonnie Miller; and two sons, Ike (1980) and Victor Ray (1992). She is survived by her children, Cathy Stevens (Stan) of Billings and Darla Borges (John) of Windsor, Colo.; her grandchildren, Vanessa Dahlberg (Tucker), Stu, Jessica, Madeline, Marissa and Mattox, and her great-grandson Porter; her sister, Jeanette Reichenbach (Bud) of Billings, Chuck Miller (Alice) of Billings, Curt Lewis (Julie) of Dallas, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances will be deeply missed by all those she touched so dearly.  A special thank you to all those who cared and supported Frances, especially West Park Village and RiverStone Hospice.
