Charlene Bickel Marchant
On October 25th , 2009, we lost our wife, mom and grandmother.
Charlene was born on her father’s birthday, July 28th, 1944 in Miles
City, Montana. She has one sister, Jeannette Fisher.
They grew up on a farm in Rock Springs, MT with their parents,
Gideon Bickel and Maria Rose Elhard Bickel.
She attended grade school at Hillside and later went on to Custer
County High School. Then, on September 12, 1965, she married
the love of her life, Thomas Guinn Marchant. They just
celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this year. Out of
their marriage came two children, Michelle and Gary.
Charlene is survived by her husband Tom Marchant; daughter, Michelle
(Darrell) Gran, (granddaughters Ashley, Kayla, and Morgan; and her
son Gary (Nicole) Marchant (grandchildren Brianna, Richard and
Dylan and one grand baby on the way); her sister Jeannette
(Garfield) Fisher; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous other
family members. We love you and we already miss you.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, October 31,
2009 at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Interment will follow at
the Cowley, Wyoming Cemetery. The casket will be open for
visitation on Thursday from 8a.m.-8p.m, and Friday 8a.m.-5p.m.
