The thing I like about Uncle Lyle best,
Is that being with him was always a joy fest.
Whether it was a family reunion, or fishing on a boat; Uncle Lyle always provided a humorous note.
With a wink of an eye and an infectious smile, It was always fun to be with Uncle Lyle.
What the earth has lost is now heaven’s gain.
We’ll see Uncle Lyle in the celestial plane.
Dear Aunt Jeanette and Family
Please know how deeply I share your your grief in the passing of a great man who has made such a positive influence in my life and everyone he shared himself with.
I remember having the honor to get to hunt and fish with uncle Lyle.
From Building deer stands to tying fishing knots he was always entertaining and made sure it was done the right way.
I also have the honor to sit in the very same deer stand that Lyle used when he lived and hunted with us in Minnesota.
I will be hanging a picture of Uncle Lyle in that tree stand so I can still hunt with him.
Lyle was a man who loved to Dance and Sing and get the most out of life. and more than anything he loved his family.
Which is a fitting legacy of this great man, because he leaves behind him a great family.
I will never forget all the wonderful times I got to spend with Lyle and Jeanette and all my cousins while we were growing up. They all come rushing back, especially now, and it is a comfort to remember those times.
I Love You
And My prayers go with you
Allen and Pam Lemm
To all our loved ones, There are times when our hearts are so heavy that words fail us. The loss of our brother and friend leaves a "big empty" but I'm sure there is a special place in heaven to reward him for raising such a wonderful family. God Bless all of you. Don & Lila
Dear Aunt Jeanette and family,
We hold all of you in our hearts and prayers at this time. May the incredible memories he gave all of us give you strength and remind you of the fun he is having in the pearly gates. Just thinking of him makes me smile and brings back memories of playing spoons, shooting squirrels or just making sure I was behaving myself. No matter what age I was, he knew how to have fun and make me smile. We will always love you Uncle Lyle! May the peace he has now found give you strength.
Love and prayers,
Kimberly Gotzion and family
Dear Grandma and the rest of my family - Please know that I love you and so wish that I could be with you during this time. My grandpa - well was simply one of the most special men I think that I will ever know. He loved his family more than anything else is this world and he will be missed but celebrated everyday by all of us. There are so many memories that will forever live in my heart -fishing - playing cards - walking by the sound in Seattle with him and so many of his great-grandchildren. Dancing with me at my wedding and the quiet times when I used to play the piano for him and for hours he would sit and listen with a smile and a look of pride. "a little while, and you shall not see me. And again, a little while you shall see me, because I go to the father." John 16:16 I love you all!
Cassie Headrick and family.
Dear Aunt Jeannette and family,
My heart is sadden to hear of my dear, precious uncle's passing. He has held a special place in heart for years. I have a smile on my face as I type this, remembering his laugh and smile. You couldn't help but feel good and be happy when around him. He and you, Jeannette were a godsend to my mother and father. You always remembered us kids and made us feel extra special. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Lyle, you, Aunt Jeannette and you, my fun loving cousins, that I will continue to cherish them for a lifetime.
Know that there is a happy family reunion going on in heaven, and that someday we will all be together, sharing in the love and laughter. Until then, we will have to remember to honor their memories and enjoy the love ones we have here on earth. After all, their legacy is here among us all.
I love you all and I am holding you close in my heart and in my prayers, God Bless you! And thank God for sharing Lyle with us all! What a wonderful gift he has been to us all!
