Pauline Heine Kaiser, 81 of Billings, passed away at St. John’s Lutheran Home on October 29, 2009 following a short illness.  Polly was born in Belfry, on July 28, 1928, the daughter of Henry and Katherine (Evig) Heine.  She attended school at Garfield Elementary and Billings Senior High School. She married Emanuel Kaiser on November 17, 1946.

Polly worked for JC Penny in Billings and later for Goodwill Industries as a manager of their “Classic Closet” Store in San Clemente, CA. She loved the beaches of Southern California and also loved her grandsons!  She was a member of the German Congregational Church.

Polly is survived by her husband, Emanuel Kaiser of Miles City; daughter, Deborah Kaiser McAulay of Tustin, CA; brothers, John Heine and Jim Heine of Billings; sisters, Alma Pederson of Helena, Anna Hartpence and Olga Kaiser of Billings; grandsons, Daniel McAulay of San Francisco, David McAulay and Douglas (Courtney Wilshire) McAulay of Tustin, CA; and great-grandchildren Logan and Emma McAulay of Tustin, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Mary Phyllis Kaiser; brothers Reuben and her twin, Arthur; and sisters, Willhemina “Ann” Taylor and Caroline Buttman.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Ocee Johnson Chapel in Chapel Court at St. John’s Lutheran Home, 3940 Rimrock Road, Billings.  Private inurnment will take place at Mountview Cemetery.
