Judy Kay West

Judy West

Judy Kay West, 49 of Billings, passed away Friday, November 13, 2009 at Billings Clinic Hospital

The daughter of Owen and Shirley West, Judy was born November 15, 1959 in Riverton, WY.

Judy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchild. She liked to garden and was an avid animal lover, even though her disabilities limited her outdoor activities. She also collected coins and movies.

Judy worked hard for everything she had and sacrificed her young adult years to raise two children on her own. She believed it was better to give than to receive and would do anything for anyone. She had a heart of gold. She was the most unselfish person we have ever known. There is a little piece of her in all of us and she will be with us in whatever we do and wherever we may go.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Mandy West of Sarasota FL, and Teisha West of Billings and her grandson Tyler West, her father Owen West of Chloeta, OK and mother Shirley West of Colstrip. She is also survived by three brothers, Eddie of Renton, WA, and Dwayne and Terry both of Colstrip, and two sisters, Debbie Beagel of Clancy, and JoAnne Sanderson of Forsyth.

Judy’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the caregivers at Billings Clinic ICU.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 2pm Tuesday, November 17th at First United Methodist Church, 2800 4th Av N. Following the service a reception will be held from 4-6pm at Cherry Creek Hall, 1955 Cherry Creek Loop.

Add Your Remembrance

My dear, dear friend Judy.....may you find peace.

Mandy and  Teisha:

my deepest sympathies.  Your mother was a true friend.  Though we lost touch over the years after she moved to Colstrip, I still thought of her often.  I look back now at all the incredibly good times our families shared.  Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time.  Love to all, Tara

I admired Judy for her strength.  She always kept her sense of humor through all of her medical issues.  My thoughts and prayers are with the rest of the family for your loss, she was a special person.  Renee L
